With electronic navigational aids becoming more and more popular on boats these days you need to make sure you know their limitations and how to use them properly. You should also know how to get yourself and your crew back to safety if for some reason they fail. Join in one of our shore based courses and find your way round your new bit of kit

Coastal Navigation Course

Every wanted to learn the black art of navigating?? This is a shore based course which prepares you for the Advanced Powerboat Course.

Duration:
2 day
Previous Experience:
“National Powerboat Certificate” or equivalent qualification.
Syllabus:
Weather forecasting, Navigation, Day & night passage plans, Vessel lights, Tides, First Aid & Safety,
Certificate:
ISA Coastal Navigation for Small Boats Certificate. (on successful completion).

SRC module 1, Voice procedures, SRC module 2, DSC procedures,
